Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations are some of the most meaningful events I photograph in Winnipeg. The day moves fast, the room is full of people who matter, and the energy on the dance floor is unlike anything else. Experienced With Large Celebrations in Winnipeg

I've photographed Bar and Bat Mitzvahs at venues across Winnipeg, including the Winnipeg Convention Centre and the Manitoba Museum, and I'm familiar with the kind of spaces these celebrations typically call for: large halls with minimal natural light and a lot of moving parts.

These celebrations often take place in large, dimly lit rooms with constantly changing light. I bring a lighting approach that keeps everything looking clean, intentional, and consistent from start to finish, whether it's the ceremony, speeches, or a packed dance floor. It's something I've spent years refining.

As the 2024 Canadian Wedding Photographer of the Year, I'm used to working in fast-paced, high-energy environments where nothing slows down and every moment matters.

I'm high energy and I pay attention to everybody in the room, not just the immediate family, not just the B'nai Mitzvah. The best photos come from being present everywhere at once, from the quiet moments at the ceremony to the cousins losing it on the dance floor at 10pm.
