Winnipeg Wedding Photographer Stunning Backyard Wedding

This backyard stunner had it all. Gorgeous decor, a full schedule, and of course a couple madly in love! I am low key obsessed with the connection these two had. They brought all the energy and life into the day, and were so easy going with everything thrown their way, rain included!

This is going to be a long one, but as you scroll, I think you’ll see why…

The day started with the bride prep, where a busy house fuelled the energy that morning, as we headed into the ceremony, it was totally sunny outside, but right as we were about to start, some clouds rolled in and it quickly started to rain! In the chaos of everybody booking it into the tent for shelter, nobody told the bride to head back inside to wait out the rain. to make it worse, the bride and brides maids walked down the long path to get into the spot they were starting from. As soon as I heard somebody ask “has anybody told the bride to go inside?” I BOOKED it to capture what was going to happen next.

After drying off, the ceremony proceeded as if nothing happened and these two weren’t fazed at all. We had planned to leave the site for photos, but because the rain pushed the schedule back we opted to just stick around their backyard property. The reception was in a tent decked out with a gorgeous mix and matched vintage decor.
