Intimate Backyard Wedding

My beautiful friends got married! This wedding is special to me, not because I got to photograph it, but because Rachel & Juergen are amazing friends that I’ve known for years! Dan, their pastor, even commented at the ceremony how I may have played a part in them getting together. I’m not really sure if that’s true, but hey, I’ll take it.

Before covid, their plan was to get married at FortWhyte Alive, but as things progressed the venue had to change; so we headed there for our photoshoot and even took a couple shots in the spot they were planning on sharing their vows.

The backyard ceremony held on a farm in Southern Manitoba was absolutely stunning. Again because of covid, most of the details were planned really last minute and turned out absolutely beautiful! At the end of the day after the guests said good-bye, they had a dance that was just the two of them.
